On Aug 10th, at the heart of the summer, the temperature is going to climb a few degrees as people from all around the world will fly into the city to attend Couch Crash '08, the first Couchsurfing Music Festival in the United States.
Music is the language of the world. From Aug 10th to Aug 17th, NYC invites Couchsurfers from everywhere to invade the city and experience couchsurfing through surfing the couches, visiting the city, and partying to the sound of our members' best bands. PINK party will kick-off on Aug 10th, Aug 11th to 14th will be dedicated to discovering a sample of our best spots and local habits, and Aug 15th to 17th will be consecrated to the sounds of the world.
Picnics, Free Hugs, museums, galleries, walks around the city, acoustic shows during the day, dinners, large gatherings, concerts from gems from our Couchsurfing Traveling Bands, after-parties at night. One week in the city that never sleep! If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere !
